The Pittsburgh Steelers made a major appearance at Michigan’s Pro Day on March 22.
Many of the organization’s personnel went to look at the prospects the defending national champions have in store for this year’s NFL Draft, which includes one outstanding receiver.
However, another blue-blood program may have the receiver they’re looking for this offseason.
According to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers brought Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall in for a visit earlier this week.
Pearsall’s college career was off to a poor start.
Pearsall didn’t play much during his first two years at Arizona State.
Pearsall isn’t anticipated to be a team’s top wide receiver in the NFL, but he has the speed, route-running ability, and hands to be a viable second option.
That may make him an ideal match in Pittsburgh.
