Back in January, Miami was among the first colleges to take a chance on cornerback Aidan Anding of Ruston, Louisiana. When the Hurricanes made their tender offer, the five-foot-11, 165-pound player had only one other offer.
It was from Louisiana Tech, the school in his hometown. Programs like TCU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Baylor, Tulane, and Georgia Tech have offered since Miami made the offer, but the Hurricanes had early access, and Lance Guidry and the staff now appear to have made an even more crucial choice.
