HUGE CHAOS: Cincinnati Reds De La Cruz Intriguing Message after snapping phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies’ seven-game winning streak was snapped on Tuesday night when the Cincinnati Reds defeated them 8-1 thanks to Elly De La Cruz’s two-run home run and Christian Encarnacion-Strand’s outstanding hitting.

With three hits, including a solo home run in the eighth inning that was his first since July 29, Santiago Espinal also made a contribution. For the Reds, Fernando Cruz earned the victory after pitching a third of an inning in relief.

Although the Phillies’ current winning run was among their longest in April, their last eight-game winning streak in the month of April dates back to 1953. Since he is anticipated to come off the paternity list on Thursday, Bryce Harper was not present at the game.

Regarding Tuesday’s result, Phillies manager Rob Thomson said, “We were expecting a tough game.” Sadly, a few things didn’t work out as planned. From here, we will proceed.
When J.T. Realmuto and Alec Bohm hit consecutive doubles in the first inning, the Phillies were able to score one run. But their offensive output was capped at five hits, which was a season low.

The Reds tied the game thanks to a double by Christian Encarnacion-Strand with two RBI in the bottom half of the first inning.

Pitcher Christopher Sánchez of the Phillies had a rough outing, going just three innings and giving up five runs—one of which was undeserved because of blunders made by the Phillies defence. Even with eight strikeouts, Sánchez’s effectiveness was below average.

Sánchez said, “I didn’t perform as well as I wanted to.” “I got taken out because I threw a lot of pitches.”

Phillies centre fielder Johan Rojas made an impressive catch against the wall in the fourth inning, but the training staff assessed him later. Rojas stayed in the game despite the scare.
