HUGE ADDITION: Florida Gators offered Top Potential Defensive back

This week, the Florida Gators coaching staff is recruiting across the country, and on Tuesday, they extended a few additional offers.

Donovan Starr, a defensive back (6-0, 175, Brentwood, TN. High), was one of the players that the staff visited, and three defensive coaches also came to observe him.

Starr recalled, “Coaches [Austin] Armstrong, [Will] Harris, and [Ron] Roberts came by to see me.” “I spoke with them for almost an hour, and everything went well and smoothly. I had never spoken to them face-to-face before.

Will Harris, the defensive backs coach, made an offer to Tennessee native Starr during their Tuesday visit.

Regarding Harris’ message regarding making an offer to him, he remarked, “He was just saying that he wanted to wait to offer me in person.” “He merely informed me that they were glad to meet me in person and that they were offering me.”

On Tuesday, Harris gave Starr an explanation of the Gators’ intentions to make an offer and the possible defensive position he could play at.

Starr responded to Harris’s reply by saying, “He said he liked my size, speed, and my film.” He claimed that because he coaches every defensive back, the safeties and corners are aware of each other’s movements. Since everyone is aware of their responsibilities, they want to rearrange me.

Harris had never met Starr before, but the defensive back was deeply impacted by the seasoned coach.

Concerning the crew, he said, “They seem like good dudes.” They told it like it was and kept it honest with me. It was a worthwhile discussion. I was impressed by Coach Harris’s statement that he came from the NFL.

Given Starr’s passion for Florida, a trip to Gainesville may be in store for him as early as next weekend. He is originally from Tennessee.

Regarding his potential trip to Florida, Starr stated, “I’m looking at next week or soon.” “I say that I’m going to see how it goes when I get down there and my relationship with the coaches, and I have a legitimate interest in them.”
