In the game on Monday, Marcell Ozuna blasted his fifth home run of the year.
When the Atlanta Braves play again at Truist Park on Tuesday night, they will want to square their four-game series against the New York Mets. Righty Adrian Houser will start for the Mets, and Reynaldo Lopez will make his home debut for Atlanta.
The Braves will start Tuesday night’s game with the same lineup. Marcell Ozuna hit his sixth home run of the season on Monday, while Orlando Arcia finished with three hits. After going 0-for-3 on Monday night, Ronald Acuña Jr. has only gone 2-for-12 in his past three games. In his career, he is 7 for 12 against Houser.
Prior to their game on Tuesday, the Mets made two roster changes. Julio Teheran, a former Brave, was designated for assignment after the game on Monday. Dedniel Nunez, a right-hander, was brought up from Triple A to replace Teheran in the starting lineup. In addition, New York sent cash to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for former Braves reliever Michael Tonkin. It was many days ago that Tonkin was DFA’d.
(The Mets have not yet disclosed their starting lineup for Tuesday’s contest; however, we will promptly include it.)
At 7:20 p.m. ET, Bally Sports South will broadcast the first pitch.
