BREAKING NEWS: Falcons have added another favourite cornerback……………..

The Atlanta Falcons have added depth to their secondary by signing veteran cornerback Antonio Hamilton on Thursday afternoon. Hamilton, 31, has played for four NFL clubs in his eight-year career, including nine starts for the Arizona Cardinals in 2023.

The Falcons need cornerback depth after losing Jeff Okudah to the Houston Texans in free agency. Hamilton has largely played on the outside since joining the league in 2016. The South Carolina State product played his first two seasons in the NFL with the Raiders (2016-2017) before joining the Giants for two years (2018-2019).

After playing with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, Hamilton joined with Arizona, where he has spent the previous three years. Over 98 career games, Hamilton has tallied 25 passes defended and two interceptions.

The Falcons signed Eddie Goldman, a veteran defensive tackle, on Wednesday. These two deals increase the team’s flexibility ahead of the 2024 NFL draft later this month.
