The Cleveland Browns continue to make moves for the future.
Ironically, this includes bringing back an aging player who didn’t play much last season.
They kept veteran safety Rodney McLeod Jr. to help anchor their secondary defense, both on the field and in the locker room.
McLeod joined Berea last offseason.
He made ten appearances and recorded one pass breakup, two tackles, and 29 tackles.
However, a biceps injury forced him on the injured reserve list, ending his season prematurely.
Now in his 13th season, the Virginia product is looking forward to running it back and taking on mentorship and leadership responsibilities in the locker room.
In an exclusive interview with the organization, McLeod indicated that he wanted to give back and share his expertise with the next generation, much as other veterans had done for him when he first started in the game.
