We informed you on Monday (see below) that Will Osula was being courted by Newcastle United.
The Sheffield United striker, who is currently 20 years old.
Sheffield’s local media received confirmation from inside the Bramall Lane team that Newcastle had gotten in touch to start the process of buying the young forward.
The Telegraph now claims that a £15 million contract has been reached, with a £10 million guaranteed fee and an additional £5 million if he reaches further goals on Thursday.
Will Osula, who can play wide or through the middle if necessary, will start as a member of the first team squad.
Although the tabloid claims that the last details are still pending, they have been informed that neither club anticipates any issues.

According to sources who spoke with Telegraph Sport, Paul Mitchell, Newcastle’s new sports director, was the driving force behind the transaction. Mitchell thinks Osula will develop under Howe’s tutelage and eventually emerge as the league’s first-choice forward.
