The Washington Commanders did not have a good 2023 season with a 4-13 record. Washington hopes to change the culture this season with Dan Quinn as the new head coach. Ron Rivera isn’t the head coach anymore and he led them to the postseason one time.

The Washington Commanders made moves to the roster during the trade deadline last season. Chase Young and Montez Sweat were two players who were traded to different teams and other players may not be with this football team for much longer.

If Washington is out of it again by the NFL trade deadline, they will move more pieces. General manager Adam Peters hopes to build the Commanders into a team that can contend for a long time.

We’re now in July, which means that training camp is coming soon.

It’s going to be an interesting period for the Washington Commanders, who are entering the next stage of a new regime. It will be general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn’s first season leading the Burgundy & Gold, and all eyes will be on Jayden Daniels as he begins to earn his spot as Washington’s starting quarterback.

This year’s training camp will also feature an overturned roster, half of which is made up of new players and draft picks.

If he’s any semblance of the tight end he was earlier in his career, he should be an asset for Daniels once he is named the starting quarterback.
