BREAKING NEWS: Josh Allen shares a text he sent to the wide receiver after Bills traded the star to Texans………….

The relationship between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, the wide receiver who was traded the day before, has been the subject of much discussion. On Fox, the receiver essentially asked whether Allen could succeed without him.

When Allen addressed the Diggs trade in public for the first time on Thursday, he decided to play it cool, if there was ever any animosity between the two. Throughout their four years together, he made a point of praising Diggs and the effect the new weapon for the Houston Texans had on his career. After Diggs was traded, according to Allen, the two texted one another.

Regarding the text, Allen stated, “Just thanking him for everything that he did for me.” “I’ll always have a spot in my heart for him and I’ll always love him like a brother and wish him nothing but the best.”

Naturally, Allen was disappointed that Buffalo had decided to let go of the player who, in his own words, “helped me become the quarterback that I am today.”

“It’s definitely hard to part ways with a guy that’s been very instrumental in our success here over the last four years,” Allen stated. “Obviously, I hope that everyone can stay with us.

“You know, we’ve changed a lot this offseason and lost a lot of experienced leadership, with Stef among them. That must be the nature of the industry. And as we approach Year 7, that’s just the way things are. I’m not compensated for making adjustments to the team. I’m paid to try to lead the men on this team and be the greatest quarterback I can be.”
