GOOD NEWS: Rams Sign a new favorite Wide Receiver for One-Year………

Before discovering the hidden treasure that was 2023 fifth-round draft pick Puka Nacua from BYU, who went on to have one of the all-time great rookie wide receiver seasons, the Los Angeles Rams were anxious about who would be Matthew Stafford’s backup behind Cooper Kupp. Tyleron Johns was one probable option.

The Rams brought in lots of wide receiver help to see if anyone could break away from the group. Johnson built a name for himself as a reliable option for Tom Brady during his final two seasons with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Following a disappointing season with the Houston Texans in 2022, he signed a one-year contract with Los Angeles. When Nakua broke out, Johnson found himself at the base of the depth chart.
