QB Patrick Mahomes explain why he want to leave Kansas City Chiefs for…
According to a story by The Dallas Morning News, police in Dallas are looking for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in connection with an investigation into a serious accident that happened on Saturday night.
According to the publication, at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, a car that was either registered or leased to Rice was involved in an accident.
The Dallas Morning News requested comment from a Dallas police spokeswoman, but the spokesperson did not address Rice’s purported participation in the crash.
After Travis Kelce was Patrick Mahomes’ primary wide receiver, Rice, a second-round selection by the Chiefs the previous year, had an outstanding rookie campaign. After setting an NFL rookie record with 26 postseason receptions during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl run, he finished with 79 receptions for 938 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns.
Rice attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, a Dallas suburb, after growing up in North Richland Hills, Texas.
