SAD NEWS: New York Giants favourite prayer breaks silence agree to switch from New York Giants to Philadelphia Eagles.

Barkley’s choice to acknowledge his departure on social media with two Eagles emojis was lambasted by Barber, who said: “You’re dead to me”. Despite his acrimonious departure from the Giants in 2007, Barber spent his entire NFL career in New York.
Barkley initially responded to Barber on social media with the following: “@TikiBarber lol, you are the epitome of team loyalty.” He later withdrew the post and, after settling into his new position, Barkley expressed gratitude to the Giants.

“To the Giants fans who were hurt by my departure, I have nothing but respect for all of you,” Barkley said during his first press conference as an Eagle. “They’ve been kind to me and my family over the last six years, and we’ve made so many memories together.

“I don’t think I really handled it the appropriate way on social media. I think I could have said a proper goodbye. As I previously stated, once I revealed it, things were somewhat busy. But I am eternally grateful to the Giants fans. Unfortunately, the National Football League is a business.”
Barkley was selected second overall in the 2018 draft, becoming the highest-drafted running back since 2006. He demonstrated his worth by earning Offensive Rookie of the Year with impressive stats of 1,307 running yards and 15 touchdowns.
