In another post, Jeramiah said, “Tre Jordan and Micah, all FAs 🤔 hmmm,” to which X quickly responded negatively. In response, Thomas DeLaus of Cover 1 said, “Jordan and Micah are getting close to 30, and Tre just recovered from two injuries that ended his season. This is a business decision from a franchise that needed to add youth because they were over $40 million over the cap. It is not a personal grudge. Not to mention, I have a good feeling that Beane and McDermott found these manoeuvres to be terrible and very challenging. Remembering the amazing seven years they spent at the centre of our team is important. It’s unnecessary to personalize this because it wasn’t.
“Lol, yeah, we’ll see, because if any of them choose to play again, he’s going to make that stain bean feel it,” Jeramiah shot back. He defended his opinion of Beane and questioned Buffalo’s “culture.” “They betrayed Jordan; isn’t that fair? Haha.

The Safety Bills Re-Signed Following the Cut of Jordan Poyer, Taylor Rapp

The Bills cut Jordan Poyer and re-signed safety Taylor Rapp.
The Bills were able to free up $5.72 million in cap space by removing Poyer. ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the Bills re-signed safety Taylor Rapp to a three-year contract worth up to $14.5 million amid the flurry of changes made on Wednesday.
Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic thinks that 26-year-old Rapp might be “Poyer’s direct replacement.”
Three of the Bills’ safeties—Rapp, Damar Hamlin, and Kendall Williamson—have contracts through the 2019–20 season; Williamson is on a reserve/futures deal. Given that Hamlin played in just 30 snaps during the last campaign, the Bills are probably looking to add a starting safety.
According to Buscaglia, “do not be surprised if their most significant swing in free agency this offseason is at safety.” “Taking a safety this April would still make sense to give the Bills a long-term option other than Rapp, who struggled in some of his appearances, even if they were to sign a free safety.”
They need some sort of young infusion, even if it’s simply for developmental depth rather than a choice in the first two rounds. In a perfect world, they could use [Cam] Lewis to cover a free agency safety, and in 2025, a rookie could replace Lewis as the starting strong safety.
